T.I. Wants To Sign Yo Gotti, Problem, Jeremih & Kirko Bangz To Hustle Gang
T.I., along with his Hustle Gang team, recently made an appearance on Hoodrich Radio and chopped it up with DJ Scream. He talks about the new ‘G.D.O.D.’ mixtape, censorship, NBA Playoffs and more. At the 5:15 mark, T.I. reveals that 2 Chainz has replaced Future on the upcoming ‘Americas Most Wanted’ tour. Following in the steps of Young Jeezy who recently aligned his CTE imprint with Atlantic, Yo Gotti has reached a partnership deal between CMG and Epic Records. Gotti hinted at the merge when he posted a pic of himself, and long time music mogul , Epic Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid. The Memphis native has confirmed that CMG reached a full distribution and promotional deal that is multi-tiered and worth millions.
Discussing the decision to sign with Epic, Gotti says he wanted to expand CMG’s reach, and felt partnering with Reid was essential, “This is a solid partnership that allows me to do what I do on bigger platforms, with the respect and support of the Epic team. Throughout L.A. Reid’s career, I realize he has been a part of creating some of the biggest superstars in the industry. I feel there is no better person to partner with.”
Further explaining how beneficial partnering with Epic will be, the CM7 rapper mentions the success CMG had reached independently with marketing, “The independent success we’ve had thus far with our tour, merchandising and projects from myself.” Gotti adds how it will benefit him and his artists, “my first artist Zed Zilla has given me the perfect opportunity to create the best possible partnership for CMG.”
Looks like Gucci Mane is back to his old ways. When he dropped his “Trap God” mixtape last year, he dissed Yo Gotti for wanting to put out his tape on the same day. Now with “Trap God 2″ hitting the net last night, Gucci has found a new target. He went at ASAP Ferg on Twitter over the title of his upcoming mixtape “Trap Lord”.
Kirko Bangz Ft Yo Gotti – Disrespect
Houston’s very own Kirko Bangz heads to Memphis to link up with Yo Gotti for this new track called ‘Disrespect’. Produced by KE On The Track. He is currently working on his debut album, which should hopefully be dropping this year.
